In 2024, Lakeway Newcomers changed its name and its mission! For decades, Lakeway Newcomers has been a local social club focused on assisting new arrivals in acclimating to the Lakeway area.  Our group is now open to all residents, regardless of length of residency!  
Our new name – Lakeway Newcomers and Neighbors (LNN) better reflects our desire to attract all residents of the City of Lakeway, the Village of the Hills and the Lakeway ETJ (Extra Territorial Jurisdiction). 
LNN membership provides each member access to over fifty social activities during the course of the year, including:

• Gala – Our signature formal event which occurs in December of each year.
• Dining Out – Groups of members get together, monthly, for dinner at local restaurants.
• Wine Appreciation Dinner – Several times each year members get together for dinner in local homes and sample special wines.
• Gin Rummy – Members meet regularly to play gin rummy games.
• Men’s Night Out – Each month, men can meet at a local restaurant to have dinner.
• Ladies’ Night Out – Each month the ladies meet at a local restaurant to have dinner.
• Trivia – Members meet quarterly to compete in trivia games.
• Cinema Group – Members meet monthly to discuss previously selected movies.
• Scheduled Social Activities – Special activities are planned throughout the year.
